One of the activities available on the Alloz reservoir is sailing. If you want to learn or practice, then you can turn to the services of the Navarran Sailing School.

The Andía and Urbasa mountain ranges (home to the Source of the River Urederra) mark the northernmost boundary of Navarra’s Mid region and run alongside the village of Riezu, the source of the River Ubagua, which flows into the Alloz reservoir. An area of outstanding landscapes.

From Puente La Reina (where the different routes converge) to Estella, the Pilgrim’s Road to Santiago leaves the mark of its historical and artistic significance in the form of beautiful examples of Gothic and Romanesque architecture, such as the Monastery of Iranzu in Abárzuza.
The town of Estella-Lizarra was founded in 1090 to meet the need to attend the growing number of pilgrims from all over Europe as they made their way to Santiago. Important examples of Romanesque architecture (the cloister of San Pedro and the Church of San Miguel), Gothic (the façade of the Holy Sepulchre, the Convent of Santo Domingo), Plateresque, etc, lend their wealth to a highly cultural town.
Navarra’s Mid region is the home of fine wines and rich and varied cuisine based on local produce.
